Smart1 Management Solutions LLC  provided Acquisition Specialists to assist the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of NextGen (ANG) in the duties deemed necessary to provide acquisition support services in planning and developing the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen).

Smart1 assists Government staff in all aspects of project management, procurement planning, scope and capability analysis, cost and price analysis, and task order/contracts/agreements modification support to include:

  • Performance of pre-award/award procedures.
  • Review of purchase request in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Acquisition Management System Lifecycle.
  • Perform Market Research Analysis Reporting.
  • Utilize systems such as SharePoint, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Suite to develop Acquisition Plans, Sole Source/Limited Competition Business Justifications, Statements of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
  • Prepare solicitations and determine appropriate methods of procurement.
  • Develop Contract Award Memorandum to include rationale for selection for Contracting Officer review/approval.
  • Provide Legal Attorneys data to support claims and uphold dispute resolution boards
